Nava Energy Zambia Limited is located in Southern Province of Zambia namely Maamba under Sinazongwe District. It is 352 KM from Zambia’s capital city (Lusaka) along Livingstone road, branching off at Batoka and is 88KM from Batoka Junction to Maamba.
It is a company that is engaged to Operate and Maintain the 300 MW (2X150 MW) Coal Fired Power Plant owned by Maamba Collieries Limited. NEZL is a subsidiary of Nava Barat ventures whose Headquarters is in India. Thus, the Office of Human Resources at NEZL is hereby advertising the following positions;
Trainee Engineers – Beginners.
Location: Maamba
Position: 10
Successful candidates will be given contract of employment (probation) after completion of 1 year training period,
Minimum Qualifications;

Grade 12 certificate
Diploma or Bachelor in Engineering (Electrical, Instrumentation & Mechanical) from a reputable learning institution and registered under Engineering Institute of Zambia
Zambian with NRC
2 to 3 years work experience and conversant with Engineering principles and standards will be added advantage.
Age below 30 years

ROLE OF THE POSITION

The position provides one year training opportunity – Both classroom and field work.
Successful candidates will be given contract of employment (probation) after completion of training period.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Apply for all types of Engineering concepts during training period as assigned by the trainers or mentors.
Perform any other Engineering duties in relation to operations of TPP
