Job Description
Uptick Surveys is a data collection firm that collects high-quality data to provide evidence for decision-makers. Uptick Surveys is seeking transcribers.
Responsibilities:
Typing audio interviews in local languages into English
Complete at least 2 scripts per day to a high standard
Complete revisions to scripts
Qualifications
Grade 12 certificate required
Proficiency in at least 1 of the following: Tonga, Chewa, Nyanja– both written and verbal
Excellent grammar and punctuation skills – note candidate may be tested
Must have full-time availability for transcribing period
Must own laptop with Microsoft Word
Must be online for duration of working hours
Remote work available
